Biography of Bob Couture:
Bob held positions in public relations, finance and business administration with top and FORTUNE 500 companies such as Blanc & Otus (a Hill & Knowlton company), Oppenheimer & Company, and Northrup Grumman Corporation. He also retired as an Army Officer after 22 years of service and three overseas deployments. He brings his corporate experience and military dedication to pursue his love for real estate full time since 2013.
Bob is managing partner of CP Property Group, a realty and investment company, with offices in Springfield, Massachusetts and Hermosa Beach, California. He holds a Massachusetts Real Estate Brokers license as CP Property Group and is completing his requirements to be awarded the Certified Property Manager (CPM) certification. Bob is the Co-Founder of the Western Mass Real Estate Investor Group. Additionally, he is the managing partner for Ironsides Property Group, a property management company, in Springfield, MA, that manages 300 apartment units in Massachusetts.
He has a Bachelor’s in Communications Studies from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. Bob has resided in the South Bay since 2002. He lives in Hermosa Beach, CA with his wife, and two children.
Added note to Bob’s bio – I am often asked, “why do you live in California and invest in the Springfield, MA area?” The answer is business and personal. Business reason is that this market cashflows unlike most of the California which is an appreciation play. The personal reason is my deep roots in Western Mass and family. I was born and raised in Western Massachusetts. I lived in Springfield, MA until age of three before moving to West Springfield. My parents still reside in West Springfield along with one sister and the other sister at the Cape. I believe in the area and want to contribute to its growth.
