Biography of Kevin Romeny:

Kevin Romney is the founder and managing director of Camino Verde Group, a firm he founded in 2019. Camino Verde Group is a real estate investment and development firm whose focus is creating quality affordable housing in challenged neighborhoods throughout the West. 

At Camino Verde Group, Kevin is responsible for handling pr   operty acquisitions, financing and asset management.  He is currently involved in the development or management of more than $250 million in multifamily (more than 800 units) and mixed-use real estate in California, Nevada and Utah. 

He develops properties from the ground up, including the buildout of co-living properties in Southern California and the development of Ephraim Crossing in rural Utah, a multiuse campus of residential neighborhoods, retail and office spaces. He also manages Camino Verde Group’s partnership with the second largest affordable housing provider in the country in a 348-unit project at the Las Vegas master plan community Inspirada.

Kevin founded The Romney Group in 1989 and remained president and CEO of the company until he left to create Camino Verde Group in 2019. At The Romney Group, Kevin owned and developed commercial property and managed retail, office and medical projects. Among his top projects were the development and expansion of a multimillion-dollar renewable energy corporation, 200-plus account vending company and a locating company, in which he helped negotiate the placement of more than 15,000 vending machines for hundreds of national vending machine companies.

While at The Romney Group, Kevin was also CEO and president of Paramount MultiServices, LLC, in which he built a major group of call centers throughout Texas, New Mexico and Nebraska. From 2003 to 2012, Kevin oversaw the company’s management team and grew sales to $9 million. The company had more than 300 customer-service representatives working on behalf of Fortune 500 clientele.

Kevin started his career at Ernst and Whinney, one of the largest and most highly regarded accounting and consulting firms in the U.S.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Brigham Young University.

An El Paso, Texas native, Kevin has lived in Las Vegas since 2003. He is the father of seven children and 15 grandchildren.  He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking and exploring U.S. National Parks.  He has a goal to visit every national park in the contiguous United States. As of 2021, Kevin had only four more parks to visit.
