Jens Nielsen is a founder and Managing Member of Open Doors Capital. Mr. Nielsen oversees the company’s acquisition analysis, business development, and asset management. He also directs Open Doors Capital’s overall investment strategy. He brings over 25 years of experience in computer system management and organizational leadership to the company.
In partnership with other private real estate investment firms, Open Doors Capital has purchased or partnered in over 2,700 apartment units since 2016 at a value of over $250M.
Before his entrepreneurial activities with Open Doors Capital, Mr. Nielsen held leadership and technical roles in telecommunication and IT companies worldwide, where he specialized in Enterprise IT systems implementation, system management, and leadership.
He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland with a Master of Science.
